IndicLingo - The Indian Language App

The concept for IndicLingo was conceived by Wharton School graduate, Shashwat Singh. The IndianAmerican management grad had noticed the lack of good quality language learning resources for Indian languages. The idea was to develop a Duolingo-style app and website that offered exhaustive, curated courses in every Indian language, including regional dialects and disappearing indigenous language and script systems. The initial version of the IndicLingo app was buggy, outdated, and had an unappealing UI design. The challenge was to develop a sleek, user-friendly app incorporated with salient UX/UI elements, compatible across devices. For this, the IndicLingo core team reached out to CodeAvik.
